I'm a designer/illustrator/animator with 20 years experience. For the last four years, I've been the assistant director on the PBS Tv show 'The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that!' with responsibilities from design checking and fixing (backgrounds and character) to ensure the style of the locations and new characters worked in the Seussian universe, overseeing the storyboarding and reviewing the animation as it came in. I've designed children's tv shows for the BBC and storyboarded for high profile shows such as 'Tiny Planets', 'Fireman Sam' and '3rd and Bird', as well as working as a concept artist for game shows. This has taught me a great deal about staging, composition and compelling storytelling through images. I've learned a huge range of design styles, and can give you artwork that is highly realistic or hyper cartoony. With any style, I'll give you the best choices possible. Please take a look at my folio - which is only a small sample of the work I've done. I'm a dedicated worker who will do all in his power to meet and hopefully even surpass expectations to make your project shine. Thanks for reading.
