I am a full-time college student in a liberal arts college. I enjoy writing and would like to turn my hobby into a money making possibility. I believe that all writing should be objective, but be fun to read as well.

I am 22 years old, living in South Africa and is studying for my bachelors degree in economics. I love writing about everything and is very hardworking. When a task is at hand I do it to the best I can and to meet the deadlines. I have done a few months of writing on the internet and want to keep me busy and get a little extra cash for my studies.

I'm a writer. I think, eat and sleep words. I can make them loud, soft, important or not. I can manipulate and transform them. Most of the time, if I put more than one together, it actaully makes a sentence. At least more often than not.

WHO I AM: Hi, I’m Mark Taylor! Thank you so much for stopping by! I am an on-location portrait and event photographer in the Dayton, Ohio area. I will come to your home, your office, or some other location of your choice (as long as we can legally photograph there) and work with you to create beautiful images that I know you will love! If you are not sure where you want to have your photo shoot, send me some ideas on the style or mood you are wanting for your images and I will make some suggestions. Portrait photography is a collaborative effort - the photographer and the client working together to create amazing images that both are proud of and can get excited about. MY PRICING: I have two pricing structures: * Portrait sessions * Event sessions * PORTRAIT photography. I only charge a creative fee. A creative fee is a flat rate that compensates me for my talent and the time involved in creating your images. I don’t charge hidden or extra fees. I believe in keeping it simple. All editing and touchup is included in the creative fee. The Details... My standard price is $150. This price includes: * A one hour photo shoot. * An unlimited number of poses (as many as we can fit into an hour). * Editing/retouching of all images. * A CD or flash-drive of all acceptable images. * One select image, formatted for use as a Facebook profile picture, that includes my logo. The Discounts... * If you sign a publication release, allowing me to use your photos on my website, in portfolios, in articles, magazines, etc... then I will give you a $50 discount off my standard price. That brings a portrait photo shoot price down to $100! * EVENT photography. I still only charge a creative fee, that includes all editing and digital images. However, the time and effort involved in photographing an event is significantly more than a portrait session. The Details... My standard price starts at $300. This price includes: * Up to one hour of photography. Each additional hour will be $150. * An unlimited number of images within the allotted time. * Editing/retouching of all images. * a CD or flash-drive of all acceptable images. ** There are no discounts for event photography. PAYMENTS: * Half of the fee is due at the time of the photo shoot, and is non-refundable. * The other half is due after you are happy with the online proofs. I will send you the CD of images after receiving your final payment. EXCEPTIONS: f your event or photo shoot requires additional time; requires travel more than 30 minutes from Montgomery county; or requires additional expenses on my part (such as hiring a “second shooter” photographer for a large event), then I will charge for this on a case-by-case basis. Rest assured, if your photo shoot falls into this category, you will know up front before any agreements are made. The only surprises you will get, is how great your images turn out! P.S. In addition to portrait photography, I also shoot landscapes and wildlife, with a fair amount of street photography and abstract work sprinkled in, which are available as fine art prints at the following website: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/2-mark-taylor.html - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 'It's a passion of mine to constantly be looking through my lens for that perfect image. To capture my unique impression of the people, places and things around me into a perfectly composed, perfectly lit moment in time... That’s what it’s all about.'
