I'm new to this profession. I want to work honestly. If you give me the job, I will do the job by virtue of my abilities, skills and time. I think life without work is meaningless. I guess a man lives his work in action. Believe me I will submit your work at the right time and time. That is my commitment. Maybe if I can work with you there will be some financial stability.

Comic and book illustrator. portrait artist, murals and cartooning. Texas based and takes commissions. Lover of music. fashion, photography and art. I work with all mediums but prefer watercolors and Copic markers. More of my work can be found on Instagram @markeeshadows or on my website. Bio: Mark has been immersed in art from birth thanks to his father. He began drawing as soon as he was able to hold a crayon and it became clear early on that Mark had inherited the skill and love of art just like his dad. As a teen, he developed a passion for comic book illustration and received his first professional job at 16, illustrating for several prominent comic book companies. Today, Mark illustrates a wide range of styles including comic book art, detailed portraits, and cartoon illustrations, including a horror themed graphic novel that he plans to publish. Mark draws his inspiration from the innovative presence of David Bowie, the dark, gothic styles of Gris Grimly and Tim Burton, the minimalist approach to storytelling of John Carpenter and Mike Mignola, and the playful illustrations of Skottie Young and Adam Hughes. He is an entirely self-taught artist pulling from experimentation and self-study to hone his craft. He was first greatly influenced by comic book art and over time he found that same influence from music, film, and photography.

When you need something written professionally and on time, I will not disappoint. I am new to this site, but have a lengthy career that includes SEO website copy, travel, healthcare, and education articles for various Internet sites, and feature stories for print magazines and newspapers covering just about every topic under the sun. I also have extensive corporate communications experience, which includes years translating corporate strategy into copy easily readable for associates around the globe. I have written manuals, newsletters, online content as well as voice and video scripts for corporate and commercial audiences. I am sought after for an ability to translate technical or industry-specific jargon into easy-to-digest information appealing to a wider audience. I also understand the importance of keeping it simple, and know where to edit wisely to “say what needs to be said” in a concise matter. I supplement my freelancing as a Certified Professional Resume Writer on behalf of private clients and several nationwide resume companies. I also write cover letter, thank you letters, and Linked In profiles. Whether a story about local government, an executive resume, a keyword laden webpage, an article about a new school or a travel script for a Convention and Visitors’ Bureau—I approach every task with an attention to detail and deadline. My educational background includes a M.S.W. in Healthcare and a B.A. in Journalism.

Edgeways is the home of Clevedon based graphic designer, Nicole Channon. Nic has more than seven years of professional industry experience (agency, in-house and freelance). Edgeways was founded with the aim of providing design support to small and medium size businesses, helping them get their message across and get a word in edgeways (see what I did there?!) Edgeways isn't a multi-national agency with fancy city centre offices and inflated designer egos. I won't try to dazzle you with marketing jargon or railroad you into trendy or expensive solutions. What I will do is listen carefully, work my little socks off to understand your business inside out and then work closely with you to develop the best possible creative solutions for your organisation. At Edgeways all clients are equal and I work hard to build close relationships with each and every one. That personal touch not only brings clients back time after time but also helps to generate the very best solutions for every job. Unlike larger design and marketing agencies, I'll manage your project personally, from the first consultation to the final handover and i'll be available to answer questions and offer friendly, sound advice at every step along the way. Whether you're a start up who needs to make a tiny budget work extra hard, or an established business ready to make an investment in professional design, Edgeways will find a solution to suit your needs, your timescale and your budget. For a friendly chat (and maybe a cuppa and a biscuit if you're nearby!) get in touch and we'll get to work on making your ideas come to life.
