I am a senior in high school who excels in video editing and photo editing. I do plan on going into these fields as a career, and would really appreciate the prior working experience. As far as video editing, I usually just make music videos of tv shows and movies, which I upload onto youtube. However, I am very knowledgeable to all of the aspects of video editing. And with photo editing, let's just say, the sky is my limit. I can retouch, fix coloring, do manipulations, make desktop wallpapers, create posters, etc. Thank you, photoshop! I am 25yrs.old and currently a student at Ai - Art Institute of Austin in Austin, Texas. I am 2/3rds of the way complete of a Bachelor’s Degree from the Media Arts and Animation program. Starting from a very young age I had decided to become an artist. My first inspiration was when I watched Disney’s The Little Mermaid for the first time. The movie fascinated me when I was told about how artists drew many, many, many pictures to put them all together to make them move. I said to my parents, “I want to be the artist that makes the pictures move when I grow up!” I have never let go of that dream. Over the years my love for animation only grew more. It has broadened to include other things like Anime and Video Games and walks through local Art Galleries. As I have studied at Ai, I have become more and more aware of my love for other developing areas behind an animated film or video game. I fell in love with checking out concept art books from the library. I love the freedom and excitement from being given a small prompt then getting to run wild with it in my own style! My ambition is to work anywhere within the concept stages of developing animation or video games.
