The lessons were advertised as “Foundation Drawing” with an emphasis on portraiture of people and animals, perspective and composition. I joined the newly formed Nicola Valley Transportation Society in July and was fundamental to the launch the new Merritt and Area Transit on November 5th. I did the promotions and wrote all the press releases for the new transit system. I wrote a grant to be able to purchase office equipment and furniture and was awarded the grant in December. I ran the transit for the first 9 months of operation, establishing protocal between the management, drivers, and public. I have written professionally for various newspapers and clients.
