Hello! Since 1979, my experience has spanned a variety of media, including design for brand identity, annual reports, publications, marketing collateral, websites, packaging, signage, books, exhibit graphics, and event/conference promotional collateral. My work has assisted for-profit businesses and not-for-profit organizations locally, nationally and worldwide. I have extensive experience in the healthcare industry, which is where my career began. When you engage with me, you'll work directly with a senior designer who delivers exceptional, personalized service and a commitment to each assignment. Behind every print and online design project is a process focused on analyzing business goals and meeting the highest design standards. Over the years, I have discovered the point where good design and functionality intersect. Although my work has received national and international awards, I never lose sight of the fact that accomplishment is measured ultimately by your success. If you are seeking a designer who can help make your message standout in the marketplace, I'd be delighted to help! I have a BA & MA in English from Stanford University, various producer credits on a number of feature films, and numerous screenwriting jobs under my belt. I completed a script-for-hire for Clark Peterson (who produced MONSTER with Charlize Theron); I'm developing a high concept comedy with Todd Garner (who produced ANGER MANAGEMENT); Radar Pictures came on to produce and finance my last spec on a $20M budget; and I just completed two adaptations for one of the producers of the SIN CITY franchise and two other rewriting jobs for independent producers, one of which will shoot for $14M next spring. The last horror/thriller screenplay I wrote now has Louis Leterrier attached to produce (he most recently directed CLASH OF THE TITANS and THE INCREDIBLE HULK). I have been dosing myself on comix and books since I've been able to read; now, I make them. A lover of narrative, the quirky iconography of cartoon, and the power of quiet moments as well as the excitement of visualized action. As a book designer, I think cohesively, from the page to the larger, complete book, with strong attention to detail. This can be applied to both text-based and image-based books. I have worked on a range of projects, including book and publication design, storyboarding, cartooning/comic book art, and graphic design. Looking to expand and be challenged by new projects. www.primazonia.com. *Recent clients* Safdar Analytics - Illustration, Book Design, Art direction Madison Clell - Book Design for "Cuckoo, the Play" Sylvia Toy Lewis - Drawn Storyboard for experimental video, "Indigo" Safdar Analytics/Marine Mammal Center - wallpaper designs for computer, iPad, iPhone. * Comics Publications* 2013 "Flux," in QU33R, Robert Kirby, ed., Northwest Press 2012 "Primahood: The Second Album," Primazonia Press 2012 “Unnatural History,” in Hand Job, Anne Elizabeth Moore, ed., Pressing Concern Books 2011 "Primahood," Primazonia Press 2011 "Paper Dolls + expansion set," Primzonia Press 2011 art and essay, “Artist Mama,” Rad Dad #19, Microcosm Publishing 2010 "Box Book 1," self-published 2009 "Primazon Paper Dolls, set 1," Primazonia Press 2008 "Primer 1," self-published 2003 “Because,” published in True ****, K.
