I don’t define my abilities in one genre. Starting out as a cartoonist, I grew into taking illustration and graphic design as other skill I want to pursue. As a cartoonist, I have experience in comic books and character development. My skill as a comic artist also allowed me to be skilled in storyboarding, capable to interpret a story in quick sketches or with more detail. I’m able to create caricature characters and give them personality. I utilize pencil skecth and ink work when doing thse kind of projects. As an illustrator/graphic designer, I am capable of creating logos, or designs of various kinds, it ranges from CD’s cover, menu, brochures and more. I utilize photoshop or painter when doing these projects. I am very adaptable and don’t limit myself to the skills I’m good at. Willing to try new things and step of my comfort zone, I do my best to impress and succeed to execute a good piece of art. I have extensive experience in children's publishing, including illustrating children's materials. My editorial illustration background includes working for a major city newspaper as a political cartoonist, teaching character design at a prominent Chicago college, and producing fantasy art that has appeared in "Spectrum Annual: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art." In addition to illustrating for national magazines and painting for gallery shows around the country, I have decided to complicate my life further by drawing a daily political cartoon on the subject of "Tweet Wars."

I am a humor writer and have had a blog for almost 2 years now. The type of content I write about is a mix of my own rantings, beliefs and thoughts on current events as well as my own personal experiences. I am passionate about humor and thoroughly enjoy telling a story - I write about the things I observe and the things that I think should be said out loud. I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to write for Moot magazine and greatly appreciate your consideration. Thank you! ***My website*** http://www.gunsanddonuts.com
