I am completely new this this industry. However I do have a few articles that I have written and am very passionate about the idea of expressing myself in written form. Most of my articles have been in blog forums. I am currently unemployed and looking to do something that i know i would love and that I can become good at. Again, I don't have much experience but am willing to learn and grow. A good start in a situation like this would be a great fit for me.

Photography has become a very important passion of mine. Starting my Juinior year of high school (2005) I began capturing life's important moments, starting with weddings and birthdays, using a simple point-and-shoot. I soon realized how much I loved photography. My Freshmen year of college I began using a semi-professional camera, the Kodak Easyshare Z1012IS to further my abilities. My specialties, if you will, are concert and nature photography, which is what you will mostly find here. I'll travel all over doing what I love to capture a band doing what they love. I now shoot with a Sony Alpha330 with an 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens, but I do still use my Kodak Easyshare Z1012IS on occasion. I also intend on expanding my lens collection. If you enjoy my photography and would like to hire me for an event or photo shoot, please feel free to contact me on my cell phone at 860.803.9609.

My name is Gordon Yurk. I am a freelance videographer/photographer servicing mid/southeast Michigan. I produce a wide range of videos. I have been producing wedding videos for 4 years and have worked with more than 50 couples, all of whom were thrilled with their videos and would gladly provide references. I have been the Official Videographer for the Michigan Warriors NAHL Hockey Team in Flint, MI since their inaugural season (2010-2011) and have captured every home game, which is streamed live on FastHockey.com and burned on DVDs that are distributed to each team after each game. Before discovering my passion for video production I was a marketing professional for more than 10 years. That experience has helped me to produce some very dynamic commercials for local businesses, which have been broadcasted on TV and shared all over the internet. I could go on and on about many other types of videos that I've had the opportunity to produce in the last 4 years but I'll just make a long story short by saying that if there is a need to have something captured on video, I have the experience.

What do you get when you mix the sultry sounds of Jill Scott with the rippling command of Erykah Badu, all harvesting over lyrics that infiltrate the mind, body, and soul? You get something major, that's what-- Jakie Major to be exact! Her "New-ol'" Soul styled music is catching the neosoul scene off guard and this time she's here to stay. Originally known as Tonya C. from her Freshman album, Pumpkin Soul, this Arkansas native is back to redefine the true artistry of voice through just good, listening music. An acclaimed songwriter as well, Jakie Major has been writing her own and others lyrics since childhood. In addition to using her lyrical skills to write and compose for other prominent industry artists, In 2005, Major's first single, "You're My Everything," reached #183 on the Billboards, as an Indie Artist. Coupled with her keyboard, drumming and guitar abilities, there's no denying she's a force to be reckoned with. Major is currently working on her sophomore album, while touring regionally to deliver sounds that recapture the vibe that joins R&B, Jazz, and Soul music lovers alike. Refusing to settle for less than perfect, Jakie continues to set the standard for original, relevant music. Through dynamic live performances, and tremendous crowd captivation, Jakie's fan base is rapidly rising, and there's nothing minor about that.
