Eric Melton is a native of Kannapolis NC and has been drawing Caricatures since High School. Eric's first paid Caricature job was a summer job his graduation year 1993 at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC. In 1994 he again worked doing Caricatures as a summer job at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. After those 2 seasons working for Kaman's Art Shoppes ,with the help of his cousins he went into business for himself opening a concession in Myrtle Beach SC at Family Kingdom Amusement park. Eric remained there for 10 years drawing during the summer and working different jobs in the winter months to make ends meet including a janitorial position at Ripley's Aquarium in 1999 where he became fascinated with and got certified to be a SCUBA diver. In 2006 he moved back to Kannapolis, NC and has since grown the business into a full time profession building and adding an illustration portfolio as well as pet portraits and Caricatures..
