MEGAN BERGERON Freelance Editor – Content | Copy | Substantive Lafayette, Louisiana I am a freelance editor, who specializes in fiction editing and has over 10 years of editing experience. My work experience ranges from the creative spectrum to technical grant proposals. More specifically, I have worked on novels, short stories, academic articles, grant proposals, and nonfiction. I would be glad to put my talents to work for you. Given my technical and creative backgrounds, I feel most comfortable editing in the genre of science fiction and fantasy; however, I am equally confident in editing general fiction. Even though I have experience in the grants and research field, I am turning my sights solely to fiction editing a freelancer. I am proud to be a full member of the National Book Critics Circle, the Editorial Freelancers Association, and the Freelancers Union, and an affiliate member of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and Romance Writers of America. I offer a range of editing services, and I work with my clients to provide them with the level of editing they require for their specific project or manuscript. Each project is different as are each client’s needs.

Hello, I'm Tara. I graduated from Marywood University with a BA in Art Education with a concentration in Illustration. I work primarily in graphic novels, but I am not opposed to working on children's books or picture books. I leave that open because the style that I work in is appealing to both children and adults. Though most of the work to date has been self-published, I recently finished a comic for an anthology that will be released before the end of this year, "Unite and Take Over: Comic Stories Inspired by the Smiths". By late next year, I will have two other comics printed for anthologies, "The Way We Sleep", for Curbside Splendor Press, and "I Was A Teenage Gargoyle", for Sawdust Press. You can find a good chunk of my work at my portfolio site: http://www.tarabba.com. It's almost always updating with new artwork and comics. There you can find galleries of my illustrations, a little preview of my first self-published comic, "Puddles", and one-shot comics done for various websites or personal projects.

My area of expertise is writing. Currently, I have two books in progress and many shorts stories looking for a place to go. Furthermore, while writing fiction is what I most enjoy, my skills extend to include any medium. My work has been published in various magazines such as AsylumInk. I have proofread articles with Ozio Media Inc. While my passion and current goal is to focus on making writing my career, I will happily engage in other fields. I have the gift to manipulate my voice and act, and was a valuable member of my high school Forensic team. Later, after going to and making it to the top five in States for three years, I became one of the team's captains where, even while working with others and managing the team, I once again went to States and placed second. Additionally, my skills with a computer make me a fantastic addition to any office as a secretary or simply another hand.

I was born in Osaka, Japan. Ever since I was a child, I have had a strong passion for drawing and creating. After leaning graphic design at the university, I had worked for a printing company as a designer. During my work, I had a lot of occasions to handle illustrations, and I started having further interest in illustrations. Because of this experience in the company, I decided to focus on drawing. I believe the importance of illustrations in design. Since I consider illustration should have been attracting and impetus people to interest the goods, my drawing has always been unique and intimate. I enjoy to describe everyday life that is added humorous ideas, and furthermore, my most happiness is that when my works make people feel fun.

Former ghost writer and story analyst. Currently pursuing BA in Drama, establishing my own acting troupe so that I may shoot while starring in the 6 screenplays, 4 shorts that I have completed. The proof is in the pudding. I could detail this and that but I would rather encourage anyone to challenge my skills. My own little try before you buy. Give me your hook and watch as I make it better. Toss a scene my way and watch me toss it back stronger. I have a quick turnaround, 3-4 days for a complete story analysis, and 2-3 weeks for a script overhaul. Every project stays confidential and I accept Paypal.
