I have a BA in film and video with a concentration in traditional animation from Columbia College Chicago in 2003. I've had stop motion classes, story board classes, computer graphics, animation production studio, film tech 1... I've drawn since I was young and was always watching cartoons and movies. I got into comic books, drafting classes in high school, the list goes on. This is great that I discovered this site. I can pursue my artistic dream. You can view my animation from college on youtube. It's JDAnimationchannel. I plan on posting new experimental animation on there.

Rick Dumont was lucky enough to grow up in New England and creative enough to successfully capture the extraordinary beauty of her landscape. While in the Navy, Rick had the opportunity to travel. Inspired by a different kind of landscape at sea, he purchased his Canon AE-1, which he credits with the start of his photography career. Expanding from land and seascapes to documentary photography, Rick became a photographer for the Foster’s Daily Democrat, where he learned the significance of ‘capturing the critical moment’ to tell a story. He still contributes to the Fosters, most recently with images of the 2011 fire on Ocean Blvd at Hampton Beach and the Tall Ships’ visit to Portsmouth Harbor. As a freelance photographer, Rick is a regular contributor to NHtoDo Magazine, Prescott Park Arts Festival, and events sponsored by the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, where he is a member. Rick’s images were featured in the American Bus Association’s Program cover for their annual meeting as well as their 2012 calendar. He also enjoys participating in various art shows with his renowned New England Coastal Images collection. His work can be found in various venues on the NH Seacoast. Currently, it is on display at Ron’s Landing on Hampton Beach, and at The Oar House on Portsmouth’s historic Ceres St. Even with this impressive body of work, Rick enjoys event photography the most. He can be reached at Rick Dumont Images; 978-821-0444, or visit www.rickdumontimages.com

What can I say...Im an underground producer/composer/songwriter keeping my songs & recordings a secret until the right opportunity arises. I've always loved music from the day my grandfather bought me my first portable double deck/cd player with remote control made by Panasonic back in 1989. Was pretty flash back then... Lol, but now I'm rolling with an Apple-Garageband, Pro-Tools LE8 & a Pro-Logic set-up... just the basic home studio with the Rode NT1-A Mic,M-Audio Oxygen 61 Keyboard,Truth Behringer monitors & the M-Box Pro 2. I was brought up listening to Dire Straights, The Eagles, Stevie Ray, Micheal Jackson, Bob Marley, George Benson, Cameo and so on, but in amongst all those rock, pop, blues, Reggae and other cds, I found this one cd that changed me forever....N.W.A 100 miles and Running, man this was some sort of genra no ones parents would want their kids to hear, so I had to secretly listen to it like I was hiding a ******* Magazine. So yeah that was me, N.W.A, then came MC Hammer, Bobby Brown, Bel Biv Devoe, Vanilla Ice, Snow, Color Me Bad... those were the days back when Mai Fm first started getting airtime and there was no adds or DJ's... just pure R&B & Hip Hop music "loved it". Thats probably we're most my inspiration came from. As for being brought up I was born into a family that ran a commercial cleaning business an being an only child spent a lot of time by myself helping with the business everyday before and after school so the next best thing for me to do was to make tunes in my head and then come up with a mean hook line. I've must have let a million beats and hook lines get away and still do to this day. I think its because I know I can come up with more anyway otherwise it's because I'm too lazy to record or write it down somewhere thinking that its so good that I'll remember it anyway... Whoops, and I'm pretty sure any other songwriter out there would understand what I'm talking about. Anyway I'll leave it at that for now....... To be continued.
