I've been working as a freelance writer and editor for the past ten years, in addition to teaching Language Arts, History and E.S.L. at the middle school, high school, community college and university level (not all at the same place!). For four years, I was the Editor-in-Chief of SuperConsciousness Magazine, an international quarterly publication. My favorite part of that job was getting to interview an amazing and diverse array of people, from Robert Kennedy Jr. to humorist Dave Barry, from Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman to mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner.
