I have been into special fx art for most of my life ever since '77 when I first saw Star Wars. I just fell in love with the creation of cool stuff, especially Sci-Fi and I finally, at 26, went to the Art Institute I currently hold an associate’s degree in IDT, Industrial Design Technology, and I’m going for my bachelors in Graphic Design and Video Game Design. After my first degree went to California and worked in the movie commercial and tv industry. I worked on a lot while I was there including Power Rangers, Six Feet Under, Hidalgo, Carnival, Role Models, etc. I even keyed a couple of low budget films as well; I’ve definitely worked on a lot! Talents I’ve accumulated over the last 13 years includes sculpting, prototypes, facades, costuming, marker rendering and graphic design using CS5, 3d studio max for modeling, etc... I’m currently looking for work in the Graphics Design area to hopefully gain some hands-on experience about the actual business within the field. I currently live in Charleroi, PA. When I was running stores, I was expected to take part in meetings as a representative of my specific department about how to improve the way the company runs. I was also put in charge of updating some of the company’s computer hardware, as well as many day to day jobs. Lidl (Worcester) 2003 – 2004 Although I only worked part time, I worked a lot of hours, and my day to day tasks involved working as part of a team stacking the shelves, rotating the stock, working on the till, and general cleaning of the store. I also helped with the new store layout which was a night time affair.
