I am interested in working with both fiction and nonfiction authors as both copywriter and line editor. I can also provide basic book cover design as well as formatting and page layout. I would be happy to provide before and after examples of my work or, if you would be comfortable sending me your first chapter, I can do an example edit to illustrate my editing style before we proceed. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience if you would like to discuss your project further.

I am a business development and proposal management consultant, specializing in responding to request for proposals (RFPs) for K-12 educational assessment programs. I have 16 years of experience and have led over 20 proposals—from $1MM to $600MM in value. I hold a Bachelor's degree and MBA. Since May 2016, I have been an independent Business Development and Proposal Management Consultant. Below is the job description for my previous position. I'm Jen Keith, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art. My love and dedication to art lies in my passion for storytelling and sharing those stories with others. Being able to create believable characters and putting them into a story that others enjoy, inspiring others as I have been inspired, is the best thing I can imagine spending my days doing. I currently take on freelance work for private clients, completing commissions online and in person, while working on my own comic on the side. I love working in high contrast with black and white, mostly traditional with pencil, brush, and ink; however, I use Photoshop for digital coloring for illustration, graphic design, and other colored works. I also dabble in sculpting, mostly with Sculpey, and painting, mostly with gouache. Besides my own work in comics, I work as an inker for other artists penciling comic pages and illustrations. I love pushing line weights and am versatile in a variety of inking styles from very graphic to an exploration of texture. I love research as it not only gives my work more depth and believability but inspires me in other projects. There is always something to learn, study, and improve upon, and I am ever the student. To see my other work, feel free to check out my portfolio at www.jenerally.net.
