monochromatic painting. I am a naturally talented artist. I have experience in monochromatic painting. My painting, however, needs improving. I am yet to master the neatness in it. Although they have turned out ok. I am better at drawing though. Much better. I draw cartoons/people. I am also able to draw things out of imagination, not just what's in front of me. However, I have only drawn out of imagination 10 times or less. Usually a picture of a woman or girl. I mostly draw people but am open to other things if asked to be. I have done a lot of black and white(shaded) drawings. Currently have some on facebook. I mostly believe in drawing without the showing of lines. Because in real life, there are no lines...only implied lines. I have done self-portraits and portraits of people such as: Scarlett Johansson, Liv Tyler, Alicia Keys, Jars of Clay (Band), Mariah Carey, Gavin Degraw. As for cartoons: SpongeBob/Family Guy. But I usually draw muscians who I listen to who inspire me to draw them.

I have a unique talent for creativity. If I can't apply it to paper, I will imagine something for someone who can. But chances are, I can apply it to paper myself. Art isn't work for me. It's livimg. Getting hired to imagine and reimagine and create and draw is 2nd nature. I don't stop.

I enjoy organising and logistics and am having a great time refitting and reorganising the house (money pit) – we have moved into! Fundamentally my passion is Art –: sculptural ceramics, woodcarving, and printmaking, painting: oil and watercolour; I am rarely without a sketchbook and camera. I enjoy sharing my creative practice and have a broad experience of working with people aged 4-80 in classroom and community teaching environments. I have a studio at home – a base to work in, well equipped with a small kiln, printing press and workbenches. My second passion is food – I have worked in commercial kitchens on and off since I was 14, I am organised, a good team player, have initiative and have worked in a big spectrum of different environments. Travel is a passion; in the last year I have visited friends and family in Barcelona, Rotterdam and the Channel Islands as well as adventuring in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. I love adventure and I am a regular museum and gallery visitor: I spent three months travelling in Australia, New Zealand Fiji and Central America over the winter 2006 – 7 and had opportunity to visit many substantial art collections, travel is a bug I can’t shake off. I was also involved in fundraising for, and the construction of, a forty-five foot flower covered carnival float for the Trinity Battle of Flowers Association in Jersey: fantastic sculpture on a large scale! Walking, swimming, cooking and gardening are also passions; eating food I’ve grown is a real joy – I have just gained a 10 rod plot at the Hampstel Road Allotments and am already planning the food my partner and I are going to grow.
