(This is a centre which provides educational and skills development programmes for a diverse range of adults, university graduates and people with emotional and special needs issues. Programmes are funded by the European Union and the Greek government). • Taught parts of courses for adults. • Courses included Cefalonian history, culture, management of cultural heritage and museum studies. • Worked with small groups of adults of different ages, gender and backgrounds. • Developed materials which took into account the specific needs of the students. • Managed to keep students engaged by using teaching methods and materials which maintained their interest. 1999 Centre for Adult Lifelong learning , Argostoli, Cefalonia, Greece- tutor to the special program “Rota” funded by the local municipality for a successful integration to local community of people with special needs. • Taught local history and culture. • Organised small tasks and encouraged them to engage with the material taught. • Encouraged students to be involved in peer support as a method of engagement with the material. • Developed different approaches to different members of the group according to their special needs.
