I currently hold a BA in Cultural Studies. I am working on a MAIS (Master of Arts in Integrated Studies) at Athabasca University. During my studies, I took courses in creative writing (poetry and prose) and have written many non-fiction articles and essays. I have excellent research skills and am open to projects that require them. I have worked on several published books, ghostwriting, editing and co-authoring. They range from non-fiction, philosophical, biographical to poetry. I worked in advertising and management in the biopharmaceutical industry for 5 years, and have considerable experience creating ad's and marketing material, as well as writing technical documents, SOP's, protocols and contracts. I do prefer creative writing for my personal projects and am working on a career in freelancing. I am currently writing two novels and am circulating several short works and an keeping up an ongoing blog. If you have questions regarding my background in relation to projects you may have, please ask, I will elaborate.

My name is Kenyada West, Sr., but I would prefer Ken as the contact name to make it more easier. Only because some people don't know how to pronounce it. No hard feelings though :) I started out as an artist in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 10, drawing DragonBall Z pictures. I now draw any and everything at the age of 24 in Cookeville, Tennessee. I've been all around different states, capturing landscape photos of different city sites such as Batesville, Mississippi; St. Louis, Missouri; La Salle, Illinois; Nashville, Tennessee; Knoxville, Tennessee (Smokey Mountains); parts of North Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Tampa, Florida. I have 14 years of experience in the Art field. Currently registering for college again to finish my degree in Art. Well that's enough information about me. Want to see some of my work? You can go on Facebook and search for "Pencil Me In Incorporated" that's my Art page. Hope you Like the page and enjoy your visit! I have been writing either recreationally or professionally most of my life. I have been published in newspapers, magazines, and online (including some small success with VERY short e-zine articles). I have successfully ghostwritten several projects for people with a good story but no literary voice. (I am of course contractually prohibited from discussing details of those projects.) I taught high school English for nine years, three in one school and six in another. Proofreading and editing come as second nature to me, but I am capable of adjusting to a casual, informal style. I'm not a grammar nazi unless that is what is called for by the writer. While I love creative writing such as fiction and poetry, I can usually complete non-fiction projects more quickly. Creative writing usually requires more incubation time.

Hello, let me Introduce myself and say a few things about my distinguished career in the Graphic Design field for the past 25 years. I consider myself a young, fresh and vibrant designer always looking for that cutting edge styling that trends with what is new and exciting in the world of visual graphics. A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art in 1989, starting my life in the art field as a designer for clothing and high end apparel for several years working on unique looks for the Boston Celtics, Red Sox and Bruins. Eventually working myself into the Toy Industry with over 17 years of experience, beginning there by creating packaging for remote control vehicles, designing decals, new products and creating Halloween and Easter novelty products as well. Most recently working with popular ride on toys such as Big Wheels, redesigning the entire line of products and packages. I was also responsible for a huge inventory of children’s furniture doing package and product designs, working with licensors such as Disney, Marvel Comics, and Nickelodeon. My title as Art Director for both Kids Only (a division of Jakks Pacific) and Toy State Industries had my duties include overseeing the entire line of products, packaging, photo shoots, catalogs, logos, photography and managing a staff of in house artists and freelancers as well. I’m both a traditional Illustrator with top notch drawing skills and a proficient digital designer with the ability to master all forms of media. Well versed in all Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver and others using the Mac platform. My objective as always is to bring a high level of quality, proficiency and top level creativity to all my design efforts.
