Innovative Author who utilizes a variety of genres including: transnational historical fiction, multi-genre, magical realism, creative nonfiction, tribal literature, ghostwriting, freelance, article contents, blogs, and literary analysis. Currently, I am a student whose Major is Interdisciplinary Studies, which allows me a broader selection of multi-digital content designing along with developing my tastes in Comparative Literatures. Recently, I became introduced to transmedia strory-telling and wish to delve deeply into this new arena of entertainment. While obtaining my Associates, I wrote a 114 pg. researched report on Tatan'ka Iyo'tok'a :A Sitting Bull Among Us Defies Manifest Destiny" for a dynamite historian (who happened to be my professor and shared similar admiration for Sitting Bull as I). Next, I won the school's only literary award based on Isabel Allende's "The House of the Spirits" and magical realism. During the same semester I won first in prose for a story I submitted to my school's literary journal. These two pieces can be viewed in my portfolio located above in the Website Url. Currently, I am working on three different pieces. The first is a literary analysis based on Leslie Marmon-Silko's "Ceremony." The second is titled "Palestinian Raisins," a transnational historical fiction novel involving a best-friend relationship between an American Ambassador's daughter and a Palestinian boy, living in Lebanon, who over time fall in love while Israel continues its military occupation, illegal settlements, massacres, and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. Finally, my third novel is a magically realist novel, with Native American protagonists who spin Eurocentric stereotypes on their heads. I'm still steadily working, for four years now, on real-life stories of substance abusers and mentally ill individuals who have, for too long, been"Staring into a Cracked Mirror : Healing Traumatic Life Experiences With the Fragments of Their Lives."
