I see the lighter side of everything so I'm just happy creating "whimsical Humor" cartoons and fun images for companies and people all over the world. If you have an idea I can make it come to life. With my range I can switch tracks and do something serious too. My passion (therapy) is color and adding a lot of detail to my digital illustrations. I worked for Hallmark Cards nearly ten years...

Belfast based visual artist Miguel Martin (born 1985) graduated with a First Class BA Honours degree in Fine Art from the University of Ulster in 2008. Since then he has been working from his studio at "Platform Arts" on Queen Street. With his distinctive drawing practice as the basis to everything he produces, Martin addresses the chaotic overtones of violence in contemporary society inspired by surrealist worldviews, personal events, street culture, and Gothic imagery. He explores his distinctive, vivid imagination in regard to specific subject matter, ranging from politics to the collective unconscious to playfully tell stories in black and white sketchbook or wall-sized drawings. Resorting to a grotesque humor, his projects smartly fictionalize horror in a dramatic, symbolic yet delicate and even poetic style, making him an intelligent if also sarcastic commentator on everyday life.
