My experience in secretarial work and transcription spans many years working in the business world as Executive Secretary, Administrative Assistant then in middle management. I have a degree in Banking & Finance. I began working on a computer in 1990 before Windows and am very proficient with computer operations & technology as well as the majority of the major programs used in the business world today. I have up-to-date equipment and software. My software includes Windows XP & Windows 7, MS Office Suite 2000 & 2010, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat & Elements, Roxio Video & Audio software, OmniPage Pro, PaperPort and an answering/fax program that can record incoming messages of dictation up to 3 hours. All work is timed & documented while at the keyboard only using the computer program Time Stamp. I have one regular cassette tape transcriber and one mini-cassette tape transcriber. Audio and Video tracks are transcribed utilizing a computer transcription program that can upload most of the common audio & video formats. I can convert other sound and audio files if necessary. I started my secretarial service business working at home in 1998. As of January, 2013, am in my 16th "successful" year. Through the use of internet file-sharing cloud sites, I am able to work for customers throughout the United States as well as in Canada and even in England. I can work for you no matter where you are located. I am proficient in Transcription (Tape Cassette or Mini-DV, Audio Files & Video Tracks), Typing, Formatting Books, Documents and Ebooks, Data Entry, PowerPoint presentations and Conversion of printed material and PDF files to Word or Excel. I am also proficient designing Excel spreadsheets with functions, formulas, macros, links, buttons and other input form functions. I can design input forms using Acrobat. To date, I have transcribed or typed then formatted for publication 22 customer books now in publication for sale in many major book seller sites and stores. I have worked with several online self-publishing on-demand publishers. I have also scanned and converted printed pages of manuscripts and/or PDF files to text for customers who did not have a computer file prior to formatting for publication. I have a FREE ebook listed in Smashwords as well as one customer book on sale. Within three weeks, 45 people had downloaded the book. My rates vary in accordance with the type of job requested to be done.. All work and confidentiality is guaranteed.
