Hello! I'm Jude, an ink and paper artist who specializes with 18-19th century style illustrations. I have been featured in many public competitions such as Art Stock and other districts. You can view my art on the public platforms of Etsy and Instagram Instagram : Laundry_boys Etsy : etsy.com/shop/JudesDoods Skills I personally excell in highly detailed artwork, I thoroughly enjoy drawing anything from people (all ages) to environments. I work especially well with traditional mediums such as pens and pencils/graphite. However I have expeirence in Photoshop editing. I am comfortable with time restraints, I don’t feel excessive pressure when given a specific window of time to work with. I am comfortable being introduced with new mediums and learning new ways to quickly and efficiently create and complete pieces of art. Experience/Awards I have had many wonderful opportunities to compete in multiple art shows over the years. During my education at Copper Hills High School I was invited by the art staff to submit artwork to school and local shows. Art Stock 2015/16 : I was given the wonderful opportunity to compete with multiple artist my age in a local competition, each student was given an alotted period of time to complete their best piece of art (4 hrs) during that time I was awarded first place in my category/school. End of the Year Comp. : In my last highschool year I was ecouraged to compete with my fellow piers in an end of the year art show, where art pieces were displayed for judging. I was chosen by a professional artist and given an award. Assignments : at the age of 18 I was given the assignment to create and illustrate a childrens book, to which I did. Given a due date I was able to create multiple stories each with individual illustrations made by hand. Public art : I currently run an Instagram page where I display art pieces and drawings I’ve done, all very recent. Along with an account I manage on a public platform for young artists creating story lines or “comics”. Each drawing I do is completely by hand with little editing. Nominations : Many art teachers of mine throughout the years had nominated me for participation in many art shows/competitions, I was considered a prodigy and worked closely with them. During selections for Advanced Art students I was seen to have potential and had many wonderful opportunities to further my knowledge and love for the arts. Purchases : In my senior year of High School my Art Stock piece was purchased, $120 was echanged to display my hard work along with many other talented students in my graduating glass of 2016.

I think that you might want to give me a chance. I have been described as articulate and creative and honest. I have a dream to be a writer. I have worked in human service. And, I am good at capturing people's attention by building off of their motivation but also by just plain being unique. I was on an education track working toward early childhood however education doesnt appreciate my skill at capturing attention instead there is more emphasis on convention. So, I am seeking new experience and although I dont have the credentials, what I do have is motivation and some free time to learn.

I’ve been writing professionally for over five years. My experience includes writing advertisements and advertorials for a daily newspaper, contributing copy for a public relations agency, proposal writing for a radio station and writing for the web for an e-commerce company. Since 2009 I’ve been responsible for writing SEO friendly landing pages for a K12 consulting firm. In this position I also wrote and oversaw the delivery of a weekly eNewsletter to over 20,000 subscribers. With the same company, Magna Publications, I now write promotional emails and landing pages for the higher education community. As an Account Executive with Entercom Radio I wrote business proposals to small and large organizations. I was responsible for writing the on air copy and contributed ideas to the on air promotions. For a year I designed and created the copy for print advertisements for a daily newspaper and monthly special sections. This opportunity gave me the change to write for a variety of businesses and manage several deadlines a week. Ferris State University’s unique public relations program gave me a strong business and writing background with eight public relations courses, two journalism courses, and 15 business courses. The writing intensive major required I write four step business plans, promotions and essays. My Masters Certificate from the University of San Francisco has increased my knowledge of SEO, digital marketing and social media marketing.
