I am in love with art and really anything creative, I have had a passion with creativity ever since I could pick up a pen. I started out as a 4 year old kid drawing stick figure super heroes to now being 23 and have done countless sketches ranging from cartoons to still life', I have painted murals, drawn tattoos, made cardboard cutouts, and so much more. I work a night time job, but I'm seeking a way out and I don't want another job. I aspire to have a career doing something I love, something that I don't dread doing everyday, but also something that can support me.

hello I am new to this field—or more precisely, am returning to it after a long absence. I do not have a long resume of editing, but I can say that I hold an MFA in writing (Goddard College) and that I have worked as an editor, ghost-writer, and graphic designer in the past, and more recently have taught writing (both creative and non-fiction) at the college level. I am seeking early retirement and looking for a reliable and enjoyable way to supplement income. A couple of days ago, I was editing a document for a friend, and he was so pleased with the results that he said “why don’t you do this for a living?”— and the only answer that I don’t know how to break into the field. I would happily do < i>one< i> job for you ("special one-time-only offer!") at 75% of your standard rate, simply to have it on my resume. I will send my full resume by e-mail to any seriously interested parties, although at this point I’m afraid it will say very little about editing work.

I bear no resemblance to the musician, Franz Joseph Haydn. I am tone death, so that disabled any opportunities of a music career. Fortunately I still have an output for my creatively, this comes in writing and illustration. I am on a mission to get something published. So far everything I have done has been rejected, so I have setup a website to promote an awareness of my ideas. So please explore my website. Please forward it on to your friends to increase my popularity. Kind Regards Haydn I am often asked where my ideas come from. The truth is from no where. My school teachers always told me I would get no where with my cartoons. To get no where takes some discipline. I have got no where many times and enjoy being there So how to get no where?. I let go of my worries and ignore the distractions of other people’s affairs. Nothing must disturb me. You see most cartoonist are already disturbed. I allow time to ponder. After a long day selling shoes, resolving customer queries and struggling to get by, desperately fighting to find my own space in the public transport system, my mind retreats in to a day dream. As I escape from the chatters of commuters and the grinding noises of traffic, I wait in a comfortably numb state of mind. Then a odd moment triggers some ideas. This moment could be a split second where a word amoungst the chitter chatters is said or a curious noise happens and then fiction washes over me. Then I need to be some where urgently. That place is home, where I barge past the wife, trip over one cat and kick the other, dive for the broken, used and abused lap top and CREATE. Love light and peace.

My name is Diana Barlow and I am a supervisor in a factory. I was once told that the key to happiness was to find something you love to do and find a way to get paid for it. Art in all forms is that key to my happiness. I love my job and the challenges it provides but believe I am destined for more. I have spent the last 10 years of my life designing and drawing things for people who know I can do it. I now want the world to know. I believe my work speaks for itself as a picture is worth a thousand words. I also write & have kept a daily journal for years. In these journals are not only daily events and feelings but short stories, quotes and poetry as well. My first poem was published when I was only 12. Please bare with me as I continue to update my portfolio, most of my best work has been given as gifts. I am looking to challenge my talents and welcome any inquiries! I will not undertake something I am not able to do but give me a chance and you might be surprised!

I have been a writer for many years, I suppose to pinpoint when I realized it was a passion of mine, was when I was in elementary school and won a state-wide creative writing contest, that was open to all schools, not just elementary, and I took first place and President George W. Bush signed my award certificate. That was a cool moment, but even without it I would still be writing, I see the world through inscription and writing to me is a way of telling the story of your subject, place, or even being, and to me there is nothing greater. I love the world, and the history in every corner of it, and if I could have one wish granted it would be that I get to travel this incredible planet, leaving no area undiscovered, and then share my experiences through the art of writing. I have the talent, its very natural to me, I just am going to network, and explore any opportunities available to me while I'm also attending college. I am currently enrolled in a full course load of English and 400 level writing courses, to further polish and improve upon my skill as a writer.
