Hi, my name is Melissa. I am a graduate from CCBC- Catonsville Campus. I went to school for graphics arts, visual communication. I have an Associate Degree in the field. I hope to get into the field of graphic arts-visual communication, computer graphics or graphic design. One of my more unique talents is the hand drawn Black&Whites. This is a compilation of symbols and or designs surrounding either a name (for example: a business name, company name, group, individual person, online handle, etc) a specific idea, business slogan or logo. To view some samples of this type of work, please visit the Black&White section of this site. Another thing I enjoy is making Anime Music Videos (AMV's). AMV creation takes a good sense of timing and placement when putting the animated clips to the specific music. These skills do not, however, strictly pertain to the realm of animation. This means they can be applied to live action, slide show presentations and other mediums. To view some samples of this type of work, please visit the AMV section of this site. I also enjoy creating web sites, currently I have this site, and a site I maintain for a company. I have experience using Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop in making these sites. I make most of the graphics for the sites myself.

My name is Resu Ros. I am very interested in art, cinema and culture. I achieved a B.A. in Fine Arts in Universidad de Murcia, and then I moved to Granada to follow a M.A. in Fine Arts, majoring in video art. Then I decided to focus on the media, and studied another M.A. in Media Studies. Ever since then, I have been very interested in the image, and so I have followed courses and workshops besides the university, such as Vocational training course in camera operador, Director of Photography or Workshop in new technologies and sound. Therefore, I am interested in the approach to art from different points of view. For me art is one of the representations of cultural diversity, so I went to Romania in my third year of the Fine Art studies with the Erasmus program. Throughout that year I had the chance to cooperate in a multicultural environment in the Timisoara Student Fest with other artists coming from different countries and cultures. After my experience in Romania I continued my studies in Granada, where I realized that I was not only interested in this multicultural approach but also on the richness and diversity of contemporary art. These last years in Granada I have been involved, as a volunteer or participant, in many cultural, film and art related projects as Fantasmagoria Film Fest, Music and Dance Granada Festival, Biennial of Ephemere Art Granada (Open Lab), or Granada 48 Hour Film Project (short films festival). Moreover, as Illustration is amongst my favourites disciplines in Arts, I did some works as Illustrator for different organisations. As a member and co-founder of the cultural association My Car is Mine, I am currently organizing EXIT. International University Short Film Festival of Granada, a film festival for university students, which will take place in Granada in May 2011 (www.exitfilmfest.com). I am one of the three co-directors of the festival, so my tasks involve planning the programme, searching for financial support and sponsors, festival management, selecting interesting conferences and workshops for the parallel activities, etc. I think that my background could be very useful because I can contribute with my experience in the Media and Arts and my fresh ideas. From my point of view I have many transferable skills and therefore I think I can fit in a wide range of companies. I am very persevering and very committed. Besides I can work either independently or in a group. I am a creative person, and have leadership.

To the editor: What you have now received is my first stab at a job that I love to do. O am At the age of twenty three—which I guess you have heard before—I am graduating college, and I am ready to work as a freelance journalist. I am an existential poet, an enthusiastic journalist, a writer of nonfiction and creative nonfiction. If you type, Kevin Gilman Joplin Globe into Google, you may see a couple of my published articles that I did a while back, before I lost the internship to the back roads of Arkansas law enforcement following an intense music festival in the Ozark Mountains, Wakarusa. We rocked all day and raved by night. While admit that I have made some mistakes in the past, what I can say for myself is that I write well, read well, and continuously learn well. For you, I want to write informative articles on America’s sub-culture. I’ll give you an example of a strength of mine, that I call journalistic instinct: It was spring break, 2013, and we made it down to Miami for Ultra Music Festival. I had not anticipated how corporate it would be. College girls in bright clothing would rub up against us and the local residents robbed festival-goers of their wallets, phones, and money, and selling fake molly tablets. Rule for festival-goers: Keep your pull string backpack a pull string frontpack. Professional cameras were contraband without press passes. Those lucky yuppie U students all had their nice cameras, never taking pictures when they should have. Some poor girl without a press pass was getting her camera taken away by Miami P.D. There is more to tell, but that is just a short excerpt of my writing. Wakarusa was more exciting but I haven’t worked up the courage yet to tell the story. I can get a list of references if needed from editors and readers of my work who have Doctorates and Masters degrees. Strength: I am extremely creative. Part of my poetry collection and prose will be soon published in my school magazine, Janus, for Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. The old liberal arts school where Winston Churchill delivered his Iron Curtain Speech, my alma mater. I have also published an article in The Columns, the school paper. A dying party school where I became a Sigma Chi and learned a few things about people and life. I go by the pen name, Brian Kingsley. Sincerely, BLK. Cell-(801)-707-9164
