I'm going to go with a short narrative here; resumes just seem a little tired to me. I am a high school literature teacher; I've been an educator for about 12 years. At the moment I teach literature, but I'm also licensed to teach history and economics. I hold a bachelor's degree in humanities and international studies and a master's degree in education, both of which were earned at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I was a Brock Scholar and University Honors Fellow. During my college years I also attended Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. I love to write. It's a cliche that all English teachers want to write the great American novel, and I think that to some extent that is true. But I, for one, am not currently writing a novel, nor am I creating a huge book of pompous poetry. I enjoy clarifying written communications for individuals and businesses, and I'm good at it. Most recently I wrote website text and test-bank questions for an online ACT review company (36 University). My strength is taking your message and framing it clearly and succinctly. I take great pride in efficiently producing work that is of the highest quality. If you require further information or recommendations, please do not hesitate to contact me.
