Experienced in the many facets of the advertising industry. I began my career as a proofreader shortly before our company went digital. All of work was done through Mac OS which I became comfortable with rather quickly. I was trained in QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, PageMaker, Acrobat, Excel and a few lesser known programs such as Bar Code Pro and ResEdit. Various printers were used such as Canon Fiery and a Linotronic machine which produced negatives for printer use. I became one of the in-house trainers after just 1 year experience and even took a few courses to become certified for training in some areas. After certification I began training some of our clients and their employees on the Mac on these programs. I worked my way up to the corporate level and eventually became the personal assistant to the Vice President. I am hardworking and detail oriented. I enjoy working at a fast pace with deadlines. I also enjoyed troubleshooting. Management courses were provided in-house for all management levels which enhanced my time management skills. i enjoy challenges.
