After graduating from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor's degree in English from the School of Humanities in 2006, I jumped into a career in which I could put my writing skills and keen attention to detail to work. During five years at an incentive travel company, I did a great deal of travel writing for the company's catalog, and continued this on a freelance basis as I switched to a career in advertising. In addition to writing about hundreds of travel destinations, I have also proofed this catalog on a quarterly basis over the past seven years. I also worked as a freelance copy editor/proofreader for Creative Teaching Press for four years, a company that publishes educational books and materials for children and educators. I was considered the last person of several to review the material before it was published, and was told repeatedly that I would find minimal errors...yet I always found an astounding number of them! Not only did I carefully read each page, I also completed all of the exercises to ensure they made sense, and verified the answers with the answer key (which is where I found the greatest number of inaccuracies). Unlike the other editors on the projects, I went out of my way to ensure all of the information in the book was faultless. In my free time I love to read all sorts of genres, and one of my biggest pet peeves is finding errors in the published material. (My biggest pet peeve of all is when verbs and adverbs are used incorrectly!) By working with me, you'll receive excellent proofing skill and expertise, as well as a quick turnaround time. Aside from being a husband and father, writing is my passion. I am a Christian, and my writing is geared towards the Christian faith. I specialize in writing Christian based poetry, blog writing, and comedy writing. I launched my blog "ALL 4 U" in January of 2017, and I have posted only 7 blog entries. In these last 4 months, I have gained readers from 23 different countries from around the world. I promote my blog on Facebook as well as Twitter, and I am amazed at the power of social media to draw in readers and circulate my work. Twitter is the main vessel in which my blog is best promoted and circulated. In a very short amount of time, I have gained around 1,400 followers and my numbers grow. I gain between 20 to 30 new followers every single day and all throughout the night. The overwhelming majority of my readers are Christians, which is good because they are my targeted readers. The reason that I mention these things is to show that my writing style and content is appealing to Christians all over the world. I have a knack to articulate important aspects of the Christian faith, and the result is that Christian missionaries in poor and dangerous parts of the world read my blog posts and are encouraged. This is the goal. I am devoted to using my gift to help exhort, encourage, and support men and women who have placed their faith in Christ. My writing skills are NOT limited to Christian writing. I worked as a political journalist from 2010 through 2011. I co-founded a group called "The GAP group" (Government Accountability Project). Our purpose was to hold Congressman and Senators accountable to their constituents by reporting on their voting records and conduct while in office so that voters would be able to make an educated decision for the 2010 November elections. I am a very versatile writer, and my writing speaks for itself. I can say with utmost certainty that I can meet the needs of someone who is in need of a writer, I will vigorously pursue perfection and tenaciously meet every deadline that governs any project.
