My name is Resu Ros. I am very interested in art, cinema and culture. I achieved a B.A. in Fine Arts in Universidad de Murcia, and then I moved to Granada to follow a M.A. in Fine Arts, majoring in video art. Then I decided to focus on the media, and studied another M.A. in Media Studies. Ever since then, I have been very interested in the image, and so I have followed courses and workshops besides the university, such as Vocational training course in camera operador, Director of Photography or Workshop in new technologies and sound. Therefore, I am interested in the approach to art from different points of view. For me art is one of the representations of cultural diversity, so I went to Romania in my third year of the Fine Art studies with the Erasmus program. Throughout that year I had the chance to cooperate in a multicultural environment in the Timisoara Student Fest with other artists coming from different countries and cultures. After my experience in Romania I continued my studies in Granada, where I realized that I was not only interested in this multicultural approach but also on the richness and diversity of contemporary art. These last years in Granada I have been involved, as a volunteer or participant, in many cultural, film and art related projects as Fantasmagoria Film Fest, Music and Dance Granada Festival, Biennial of Ephemere Art Granada (Open Lab), or Granada 48 Hour Film Project (short films festival). Moreover, as Illustration is amongst my favourites disciplines in Arts, I did some works as Illustrator for different organisations. As a member and co-founder of the cultural association My Car is Mine, I am currently organizing EXIT. International University Short Film Festival of Granada, a film festival for university students, which will take place in Granada in May 2011 (www.exitfilmfest.com). I am one of the three co-directors of the festival, so my tasks involve planning the programme, searching for financial support and sponsors, festival management, selecting interesting conferences and workshops for the parallel activities, etc. I think that my background could be very useful because I can contribute with my experience in the Media and Arts and my fresh ideas. From my point of view I have many transferable skills and therefore I think I can fit in a wide range of companies. I am very persevering and very committed. Besides I can work either independently or in a group. I am a creative person, and have leadership.
