Hello, my name is Shelley. I have been dabbling in artwork since I've been walking. So, I have over 30 years experience. I always wanted to go to art school/college, but unfortunately my family could not afford it. I did go to a Joint Vocational school for two years where I studied Commercial Art and Graphic Art. With great grades, I passed with flying colors and a lot of my classmates loved my work. They sometimes wondered how I painted and drew so well since most of them had no experience. About ten years ago I landed my "dream job" with a small company out of Liberty Center, OH. They built pine furniture for customers who wanted hand painted artwork. The designs were mostly of Michigan scenes, such as the Vermillion Lighthouse, the bridge, and various animals. Unfortunately they retired to other jobs and quit making the furniture. I would greatly love and enjoy painting again for a profit; not just for easy gifts or plain entertainment.
