I am artist from Canada deeply inspired by nature and biology. I was awarded as the top student upon graduation from an arts-focused high school and I have a bachelor's degree in biology. I have worked as a part-time illustrator for a biomedical company for three years while at university, and will pursue further education in medical and biological illustration this August. Despite my experiences in science and detail-oriented work, I enjoy drawing all sorts of things - flowers and animals, fantastical settings and characters, cute designs, comics, and landscapes. I mainly use Corel Painter 2015 and a variety of traditional media, but I have also worked quite extensively in vector using Inkscape. Samples of my work can be found at https://alisabrandtart.carbonmade.com and https://www.instagram.com/snailsa_arts/
