I am currently a stay at home mom. I'm working towards my degree in English and Journalism. A freelance job is a perfect opportunity for me to still have time to be a mother, but also have time to work on my profession that I love. I am a great editor, proofreader, transcriber, and writer. I work well with almost any subject matter at hand because of the passion I possess over my work.

I am an illustrator whose goal is to visually tell a story to the viewer with human thought and emotion. Human thought and emotion are what drives people to make decisions, take action, feel empathy, learn from mistakes, and make sacrifices for other people or themselves. As an illustrator, my mission is to take these elements and form them in a visual context so people can understand without verbal explanation. Thoughts and emotions are a universal language among humans, and they are what break the barriers of different languages and cultures for the world to be connected. Accomplishing such endeavors takes time, dedication, passion, and prioritizing (not to mention inspiration!). I tackled school and sports teams the same way by always doing my best, because I know whoever I am working with is doing their best. As humans, connecting and understanding each other is significant to achieve what we want and need to do. I can promise that my work will always be done with professionalism and heart. I specialize in portraiture and illustrations. Regarding comic work, I specialize in coloring, covers, splash pages, and concept art. At the moment I do not do pencils or inking for comic book art.

Chandra Free is writer and illustrator of The God Machine graphic novel series. Born and bred into captivity of Orlando, Florida, Chandra (pronounced CHAN–drah, like Jackie CHAN) can now be found in her present-day home, blissfully away in the land of New York. It is here that she concocts her uniquely abstract and elongated art and comics. Intensely interested in the incorporation of psychology into her art, she focuses on the unconscious and human aspects of her characters. In addition to The God Machine, she has worked as a digital painter on the comic series Sullengrey by Ape Entertainment, a colorist on the comic series Mice Templar by Image, and as an illustrator on Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock by Archaia. She also provided digital paintings for the illustrated prose novel, Conspiracy of the Planet of the Apes, and has illustrated numerous album covers. She has adapted as well as illustrated T.S. Eliot’s The Wasteland for the comics publication The Graphic Canon. She has also done storyboards for the movie, The Monkey King and character designs for an animated pilot. Chandra was also the art director of the guerrilla studio BLAM! Ventures.
