Hi, my name is Michael Paul Pizzella. And I am addicted to creating. I have been consumed with all forms of art since a very early age. I love singing, acting, writing music, and creating visual art. From 2005 to 2014 I worked for different artists, galleries, and custom frame shops. And In June of 2014, I decided the only way I could have the time to continue to develop my own art and grow as an artist (while still being able to pay bills) was to open up my own gallery. I am currently running my own gallery and custom frame shop; Pizzella Picture Framing & Fine Art, in Mandeville, Louisiana. When I am not custom framing at the shop, I am working on commissioned pieces and original art for the walls. As any artist knows, the quest for satisfaction never ends. And I hope to continue to learn something new with everything I create.

Kevin Michael Sweet 20310 NE 10th Court Road North Miami Beach, Florida 33179 Cellular: 305-336-7943 E-mail: ksweet.inbox@gmail.com URL: www.kmsdesign.us RESUME I am a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) Art Director and Graphic Designer with over 10 years of experience in advertising agencies, design studios and as a freelancer both in the U.S. and abroad. I have also held positions as a Graphic Production Manager and Product Development Manager that have given me valuable insights and industry-specific knowledge that allow me to work with practical applications and results in mind. Work Experience (most recent first) 2011-2009 Product Development Manager / Safari Ltd. – Miami, FL I streamlined and organized the development and design process for the annual production of museum-quality animal and dinosaur replicas, fantasy figures and educational products. My direct contact with our outside vendors and sculptors, coupled with detailed project assignment and oversight of the entire ‘design to production’ process, enabled the company to optimize its annual product offering, avoiding overlaps in shipping dates and availability. In conjunction with the product development process, I created a system to track all new product details for each new product and coordinated this information with the Creative Director. This permitted the Graphic Department to initiate catalog production in a more advantageous and timely manner and served as a reference guide for proofing artwork. I also implemented a reporting system for supervising quality control and product consistency to minimize frequency of defective product and to address production errors with our manufacturers. This led to a reduction in the annual quantity of defective product returns both from wholesale as well as retail customers. 2008-2006 Sr. Graphic Designer / Safari Ltd. – Miami, FL As a designer I brought a fresh perspective to the Graphic Department, working with the Creative Director to overcome management’s resistance to renew the graphics for the company’s product lines. I successfully assisted in phasing out a semi-standardized look by creating proposals that leveraged the unique qualities of each product line. This led to more creative product packaging and labels, print ads, institutional signage, tradeshow graphics, website design and marketing and sales collateral that revitalized the ‘look and feel’ of the company. My success led to my promotion to Product Development Manager. 2006-2004 Art Director / Clarity Advertising & Design – Miami, FL I successfully managed the graphics department at the agency and provided support to a team of 2 graphic designers and one intern. The department was able to consistently deliver high quality work against tight deadlines. My experience in print production proved invaluable in reducing the number of production related errors and pre-press issues with printers. My assistance to the company president during visits to clients and in presentations was instrumental in generating repeat business from our clients and aided in reinforcing the rapport of the agency with its contacts. Clients: Olympus Latin America – Surgical Products Division, University of Miami, Pillsbury Bakery and Food Service Division, Haagen Dazs Ice Cream, Banco Espírito Santo of Portugal 2003 Sr. Graphic Designer (temp. position) Action Graphics Design – Miami, FL I provided a full range of graphic design duties, focusing mainly on print media, packaging and large format graphics and signage. Due to my range of experience the company was able to accomplish more work in-house and reduce the need for outside vendors and freelance designers. Clients: Panelfold, Lincoln Road Magazine, Concert Association of Florida, Sonshine Advertising 2002-2000 Graphic Production Manager / Providian Financial – Buenos Aires Office (Argentina) As a locally based, fully bilingual Marketing Department team member I was able to provide invaluable assistance in accelerating the ‘start-up’ of the company’s direct mail campaigns. My experience and relationships with local printers allowed me to successfully coordinate the execution of over 2 million pieces of direct mail materials for the MasterCard brand in addition to other marketing collateral. My duties also included being the liaison with Providian’s Corporate Design Department in San Francisco to assure compliance with corporate graphic standards. The success of Providian’s credit card offerings generated the opportunity for the company to open Providian Bank in Buenos Aires. I was chosen to oversee the production of all elements required for the opening, including interior and exterior corporate signage, environmental graphics, posters and marketing collateral. 2000-1995 Senior Graphic Designer – Owner of Creative Design & Communication Buenos Aires, Argentina Creative Design was my personal project to work directly with clients and provide them with a full service design service that specialized in logo design, corporate ID and their applications. Clients: AquaZoom, Gerpesca Fish Exporters, Argentine Association of Inventors, Patagonia Woodworks, PEAK Frozen Vegetables, Fundación Parques Nacionales (National Parks Foundation), Buller Micro Brewery 1998-1997 Art Director / Santiago Sarmiento Comunicaciones – Buenos Aires, Argentina Clients: Colgate, CTI Cellular Phones, Clorox, Encyclopedia Britannica 1997-1995 Freelance Art Direction / Contrapunto Advertising Clients: Colorín Paints, Head & Shoulders, Nubevital Sunscreens, La Elida – Bee & Honey Products 1995 – 1993 Art Director / Vincit Advertising Clients: ABN-AMRO Bank, Bayer Chemicals, PCR Petrochemicals, Temis-Lostaló Pharmaceuticals 1993-1991 Art Director / Cícero/Backer, Spielvogel, Bates Advertising Clients: SEVEL Automotive (Peugeot Automobiles), Argentine National Office of Tourism, Eveready, Maternidad Suizo-Argentina Hospital, FATE Tires, Santa Ana Vineyards Computer Skills: Adobe Creative Suite CS5 on Mac platform: Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Graphics Skills: Traditional and digital illustration Photo retouching Basic photography Character concept and design Hand-lettering Airbrushing ‘Comping’ and mock-up building Basic photography Communication and Language Skills: Totally fluent in Spanish (written and oral) Translation and interpreting Basic copywriting Good communication and interpersonal abilities
