I can draw something as simple as a logo to something as complex as a person or city. My work is generally very detailed, when I am given a vision of what the client wants I draw up several designs and see which the client prefers. I will work on a project...

I am currently a student with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division for my Associate's Degree in Photography. I am just trying to get my name out there in as many fields as possible. I love what I do and couldn't have asked for a better career choice. I have done several jobs over the years since starting up my own business but have done less while in school.

PROFILE My name is Matt Ellsworth, and I am an Emmy nominated video editor and motion graphics designer with a diverse background of various work environments. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects anywhere from local TV stations and post production houses to national clients and ad agencies such as: Leo Burnett, Comcast, GolfTV, First Financial Merchant Services, and FPX. Using my skills as a video editor and motion graphic designer, I have created everything from commercials and promotional web videos to music videos and short films. I currently run my own freelance motion graphics and video editing business titled Ellsworth Dynamic, where I work directly with numerous clientele to produce and edit only the best videos, and create the most creative and innovative motion graphic designs -- as well as storyboarding, on-site video production, editing, compression, sound editing, special visual effects, rotoscoping, and compositing. I’ve lead numerous projects and executed clients’ needs on a variety of video and motion graphic design projects, taking extra care to carefully follow the clients’ creative and aesthetic suggestions while also providing my own, thereby creating a true creative, collaborative effort. Using state of the art equipment and several years of experience, I have also provided clients with on-site video production for corporate meetings, testimonials video shoots, and training videos. Early in my career, a colleague and I created a short film and entered it into a natiion-wide film contest. Our film came in first place which resulted in a trip to Hollywood, CA and VIP tickets to the 1998 Golden Globe Awards. Later in my career, in 2002, I created a television spot for Comcast which was then nominated for an Emmy. While I was involved in every step of the process with this spot, it was my motion graphic design efforts which resulted in the Emmy nomination. I am highly proficient with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut, and Cinema 4D. No matter the scale of the project, I am armed with the experience and skills you need to achieve the best creative solutions for your video needs. My resume and demo reel can be found on my website at: http://www.ellsworthdynamic.com I am available for onsite or offsite contract work. Contact me and let’s create something incredible! I am an exceptionally talented, professional-minded individual with a particular passion for creative writing, fictional writing, and poetry. I LOVE TO WRITE and am more than capable of producing excellent work regardless of the topic, no matter how boring. However, I am quick-witted and love an opportunity to incorporate humor and silliness into writing whenever possible or appropriate. I am the complete opposite of pretentious. I am not fool enough to believe everything I write is perfect; although I am somewhat of a perfectionist. However, I am fairly thick skinned. I can take constructive criticism, and I keep my mind open to ensure I do not miss the perfect opportunity. In addition to my 20 plus years experience in an administrative office support role, the most recent 8-10 years have included self-employed part time, providing personal resume services, tailor-made and uniquely designed in an effort to showcase not only the qualifications and achievements of each client, but also their personality. I do not have anything published with my name attached, although I have been involved in a ghostwriting capacity. I have written hundreds of poems, numerous short stories, and am currently (yet slowly) working on my own fiction novel. I welcome and will consider any writing assignment and am happy to provide writing samples if requested.
