Hi There! I'm Candyss, a happy and hardworking person who has loved drawing and performing from a very young age. Cartooning/sketching has been a passion of mine since the first time I could hold a pencil. From selling drawings of Disney characters to classmates in grade school to this very day, I've truly enjoyed honing my creative skills! As far as voice-over work, it's been a dream of mine since my early days of grade school where the administrators would call on me to narrate/orate school assemblies and announcements. At this stage, I'm learning more about the business, unions, and how to I'd love to take my "craft" to the next level and work with children's book authors as well as recording producers to share my skills on a much higher level. I enjoy various means of creative expression, including cartooning, sketching, painting, and most recently, digital illustration. Most recently, I've used my skills more with my woodworking/crafts shop while I develop a plan for breaking into children's book writing. I've also been commissioned by my full-time job with a Chicago non-profit for prop illustrations for various organizational events within the last year. The rate I charge can vary depending on the project I'm working on, but I'm always open to negotiating a fair and reasonable payment. I may be new to the world of freelance art, but I'm not lacking in experience as an artist and can't wait to do more in the voice-over field as well!
