Spending over 15 years working and learning about the issues facing our most disadvantaged and misunderstood neighbors. First working as a high tech home care nurse. Then working as an advocate for self determination principles in the care of people with Developmental Disability disorders. Being hired as the Coordinator of the Vermont Communication Accommodation Project under the Deputy Defender General of the State of Vermont. Participating in a multi agency Vermont prison study into treatment of healthcare and disability needs of inmates in custody. Developing a Master's project overviewing the failure of our community service delivery systems and the rise of the prison system as the institution of last resort for people struggling in our communities. Taking part in a Vermont Supreme Court committee "Equal Access to Justice". Beginning my work as a supporting co-occurring therapist, first in Wyoming, and then being hired as the Mental Health Therapist with Skagit County(WA) Drug Court. Coordinating for a brief time the Snohomish County Family Treatment Court and then being sought for multiple contracts in the Dependency Court arena. Through this process I have been able to develop an understanding of the use of power in social interaction and its importance in the creation and maintenance of the disadvantaged in our midst.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from WPI. I am a resident of the south coast area. I enjoy using SolidWorks 3D CAD software and I have been doing it professionally for about one year, but I started using it about 5 years ago. My experience includes turning ideas into models then into photorealistic images for brochures, websites, etc. I am fully and satisfactorily employed, but I enjoy it so much that I would like to do it on my spare time as well. If you need my services please contact me.
