I am a professional scriptwriter, produced playwright, commissioned screenwriter and comedy writer. I have experience in a number of different genres and scopes of writing. Every kind of emotional tone, for any kind of demographic (from Christian school plays to a parody novella of '50 Shades of Grey'; humorous pop culture web quizzes to romantic fiction; ****** mystery night scripts to literary fiction novels--all paid work, either ghostwritten or fully credited). My stage play 'Helicopters' received its debut production this past May at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, produced by Alpha Tree Productions and Runaway Diva Productions. Its full off-Broadway theatrical run is expected to begin sometime in late fall, early winter of 2014. The producers are in the planning stages. Additionally, another darkly comedic stage play of mine, 'Release Note', was a finalist for Best One Act at the 2010 Tennessee Williams Festival. Currently, my original webseries--the single-camera sitcom 'Mental Issues'--has just finished shooting its first three episodes and is slated to premiere online by later this year (details and trailers will be publicly available soon). Also, earlier this year I optioned my short screenplay 'A New Picture' to Clowns After Midnight Productions in Toronto. You can also find out more about me at the links below. They are my LinkedIn profile and Elance writing profile, complete with quantitative client feedback, portfolio, project history, background and more. I am both a photographer and model. I believe that there is art in everything. I know that sounds pretentious but I am not saying it to be some weird artsy kid, I am saying it to explain how I feel. I love art, and I believe that the most beautiful artist is the earth. Before I lose you, let me talk a bit more about myself. My strengths are that I am very kind, and love to be helpful. My weaknesses are a memory problem that I have, and a distaste for working with other peoples standards. It's not to say that I won't do that, I will, but if you give me the freedom to explore my bounds, I will, and I believe that you will be impressed. As a photographer, I think that a scene or a person does not need to be beautiful in order for it to be photogenic. I also do not see anyone/anything as 'ugly'. There are good qualities in everyone and everything, and I would love to capture those. As a model... I love it. Modeling is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. Unfortunately, I do not meet most height requirements, and that is okay with me. I will do modeling for those who accept my height and my physique. It's helpful to know both angles when you are a model, and a photographer. You can see from both perspectives what is being done, and why it is going to, or not going to look good. The main point is that I adore modeling, it is something I would do purely for fun with friends, or as a job. This has been a somewhat brief description of myself. Enjoy!

Freelance proofreader, copy-editor and indexer. I have a PhD in English Literature (University of Sussex, 2013), which was passed with no corrections. I’ve worked in graphic design and marketing, website editing and various administrative posts. I’ve also got a wide range of editorial experience, having worked as both editor and editorial assistant on a number of editions of early modern texts, as well as editing a volume on News in Early Modern Europe for Brill (2014). All these posts and projects involved copy-editing and careful proofreading, as did the work on my doctoral thesis, and I have also produced freelance copy-editing work for the Modern Humanities Research Association, Universal Study, and others. I recently produced the index for The Intellectual Culture of the English Country House, 1500-1700 (Manchester University Press). In 2015 I decided to take up copy-editing and proofreading full-time.
