I have two main strings to my bow: - technical writing and editing - fiction writing and editing. Until recent redundancy I was Technical Editor for a computer network serving the UK education sector. My primary duty was to be briefed by technical specialists and communicate this clearly to less technically-minded readers, whether through web pages, case studies, profile interviews, brochures, technical guides, the quarterly company newsletter or any combination of these. As secondary duties I would attend meetings to write up reports; travel to interview industry figures to profile in the newsletter; help with preparation of marketing material; tidy up the English of non-native writers; and work as general company copy editor, proof reader, and writer for odd projects. Parallel to this I am the author of four novels and 18 short stories professionally published under my own name, and ghost writer of several more novels and story collections in a variety of genres, working to strict deadlines and word counts. My ghostwriting CV is available upon request.

My name is Eric. I have been a comic book reader since I was very young. I am quite skilled in many other literary forms such as poetry, lyrics, and even short stories but within the last year I decided that I wanted to begin writing comics and continue to do that as a career. Although I am new to this format, I believe myself to be a skilled writer. I am currently writing a series of graphic novels called Tales of The Silhouette. It is a story of tragedy and retribution, vigilantism and anarchy. One of the things that sets my project aside from many others is that I am also a musician. I am creating a Rock soundtrack of my own original compositions that will accompany the story scene by scene, just like a film score. I have an artist who is terrific but unfortunately has many scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to find an artist interested in collaborating with me on the story, meaning full partnership. As I am new to this, I don't have much to pay for your services but if you hear the story and feel the same passion for it as I do, I am hoping you will be willing to make the necessary time investment to launch the book and receive your return. My influences include Alan Moore, Geoff Johns, Jeph Loeb, Joss Whedon, Frank Miller, Andy Diggle, Daniel Way, and many others. Some of my favorite stories are Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Batman Hush, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Year One, Green Lantern Blackest Night, Green Lantern Secret Origin, Green Arrow Year One, Wolverine Origins, Deadpool and Cable, etc.
