I don't have a ton of formal training, but the rules that 'formal training' sometimes impose on creative expression were making it no fun to do anymore. I recently moved on the road with my sweetheart who disassembles old bombs for a living on a contract basis, so that we can travel the country. I'm into science (mostly of the physics variety), NASA stuff, ancient history, MMA and the UFC, boats, fishing, sailing, traveling the world on a budget (I've done a fair bit of that), keeping up on world events, calling out BS where I see it in politics and the media, and finding small ways to enhance our unorthodox lifestyle.
