The environment of a school or business should have its own distinct visual appeal. Colorful, playful and polished environments draw positive attention and help to create a unique sense of place. I transform environments to achieve those objectives. I enjoy working on tight deadlines and finishing projects efficiently. I prefer working with assistants and/or youth on projects so I can share what I have learned and create more artwork in my lifetime than I possibly could alone. Youth in the lower-income neighborhoods of Utah may not have art in their lives as much as their peers without intervention. Youth with disabilities and/or youth in the foster-care system often need extra support to develop their confidence to take control of their lives. Working on permanent art installations allows these youth to make decisions that have lasting impacts on their communities, thus showing them that they have a positive contribution to make in their world. When appropriate, I involve my students in the process of creating from brainstorming up through completion. I am both a project faciliator and an active participant of the communities I serve. My name is Scott Reamer and I have done a touch of everything when it comes to the creation or the altering of forms. My writing skills come from a personal passion to read and write constantly. I make and sell my own T-shirts out of my home as well as make made-to-order designs. I have studied the arts, history, and English. For the last few years I have worked within a small circle of designers, this has afforded me the opportunity to share not only my skills but, also to be taught new trades of a similar order. I know the people you need to know if I myself should fall short of a clients standard. Here to help you; as an artist, as a poet, as a friend.

Unlike many designers, I am also a writer. Being both has given me a unified approach to visual communication where content and imagery work together. I am also a cartoonist - an art form that marries content and imagery into what is, hopefully, a message that will make you laugh, or at least smile. My work as a cartoonist and illustrator has appeared in numerous publications and for a variety of clients including Joliet Junior College, David C. Cook Publishing, and more. As a designer, my work has won an award or two. I try very hard to make it structured yet warm and inviting. My focus is always on the reader and I make every effort to create graphic pieces interesting and easy to navigate. I studied art at the American Academy of Art and the City Colleges of Chicago. Clients and past employers include Gillette Paper-Mate, CNA Insurance, Allied Van Lines, Pioneer Press Newspapers, and many more.
