I am an avid writer now working on two novels, as well as writing technical articles for multiple websites. Most of my writing covers physics, engineering, and technology (technically) while my novels are both masterpieces of fiction. I have a vast array of experience to draw from including time spent in the US Army Long Range Surveillance Detachment Special Operations Unit, over five years as a locksmith, and an organic chemistry degree from the University of Kentucky with an emphasis on natural product chemistry. I am now currently trying to make a living as a writer while also working as a locksmith in the Los Angeles area.

Aspiring/Dreamer Graphic Novel author interested in connecting with artist for project Email raynewilmot@gmail.com Working on a Graphic Novel set in Kennedy/Nixon Era looking to collaborate with a possible artist with possible style cues/influences ranging from 50s 60s 70s comic book eras paying homage to the old school styles with modern takes, I'm actually very open to different styles this is only meant to inspire. If Interested here's an example of a possible page one could try to render if interested: Eisenhower gives farewell address on television warning public of the growing influence of the industrial military complex and its threat to the nations liberties, Cut to a shadow silhouette of an angry Nixon cursing the former President as he watches, Picks up rotary phone and places a call to a figure to vent his frustration, We find out the alluded to figure is FBI director Hoover, Nixon is worried his upcoming election is in danger Hoover assures him otherwise... I have dialogue ready the work is pretty much finished if this peaks your interest please feel free to email me.

FOREWORD After formal tertiary education in photography and art, Jason Thomas embarked on a cinematography career as a camera assistant with a commercial television network and was fortunate to train under some of the best news and current affairs cameramen from around Australia. Core to Jason's training and style of cinematography is his ability to adapt quickly to change and work fast. Jason says his work is a carefully measured combination of working fast to capture the moment and meticulous planning. "It's more than just recording images," he says. "Cinematography elicits visceral emotions in an audience with profound effect. It's about capturing colour and movement in camerawork, shaping contrasts of the light and dark in lighting and finding balance in the framing and composition of a scene. "Great cinematography weaves these subconscious emotions through the narrative with transparent sensibility like recording the image(s) through water coloured glass. As Director of Photography these artistic responsibilities extend beyond the intangible to the tangible like the physical, managerial, organisational, commuicative and interpretive skills." Jason is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and has won numerous awards for his work. I have gone to school for programs in Graphic design at both a community college and the Art Institute of Phoenix. Both were helpful in showing me the basics of programs like Photoshop and Illustrator as well as developing my skills with pen/ink/pencil and use of color in my artwork. I have been a mother for 20 years now and raising a family has taken priority over my artwork, so I have not been making this my full time career. I am hoping that by directing a bit more focus on my artwork and my desire to illustrate children's books, my goals will be realized and my skills will grow and develop. I know I am capable of portrait drawing as well and hope that in adding piece by piece to my portfolio I will gain the opportunity to do some freelance projects and develop my abilities to a more professional level than what I have in my current portfolio of work. Thank you for looking ! :)

I graduated from Brigham Young University this spring with a bachelor's in English and a minor in editing. I have interned as an editor and writer with several magazines and websites and have articles published in BYU Magazine and LDS Living magazine. I've also worked as a TA for both high school and college classes, so I have a lot of experience in taking good writing and making it great. Currently, I'm looking to put my skills to work from home—I'm having a baby in about 2 months and am trying to get as many from-home editing projects as possible to help put my husband through school. I love editing fiction and nonfiction of all types, but special interests of mine include Mormon doctrine, culture, and history, since I'm an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
