I've been an Artist and a Clay Modeler since I was a kid. As an adult I worked as a Quality Supervisor and Quality Tech. where I programmed Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Because CMM programs are based on Cartesian coordinate systems (XYZ), allowed me to quickly learn how to model in 3D programs such as Ulead 3D, Bluff Titler, Hash's Animation Master, and now a more high end Professional software, Lightwave 3D. Also I am proficient in other software such as Adobe PhotoShop CS3, Premier CS3, Flash CS3, and many more animation and sound production software. I'm now 54 years old and have taken what I've learned as a youth and an adult to put together some high quality 3D and 2D, Designs and Animation. On the Photo, Video and Audio side, I've produced broadcast quality commercials and video, which were aired on a couple our local television stations in St. Louis. I have my own studio and I've been freelancing for approximately 10 years. I was recently permanently laid off my job as of January 21st 2009. I'm no longer seeking employment in the automotive industry, but am pursuing a new career in the Graphic Design and Multimedia Field. I've worked in Manufacturing for 29 years, and as we all know, manufacturing jobs in this country are dwindling rapidly. So I'm really looking to do something different, something that I know I'm good at. Honesty, Loyalty, and Dedication are my core values.

As an outsider artist, my work combines unconventional ideas and vibrant colors for unique visual representations. In my body of illustrations I use a variety of media with a focus on ink and ranges to pencil, etc. Each piece is composed with typically three elements in mind: natural elements (such as clouds, water, trees, etc.), fish or marine life and shapes or food elements. Real life imagery influences my artistic concepts. My compositions take a twist into the abstract with inspirations often coming from Asian culture and street art. Illustrations are brought to life using two dimensional layering and careful attention to line detail. Each piece I create brings a visual snapshot into my peculiar world, playfully dabbling in whimsy, using overlapping techniques to juxtaposition the key elements of my abstractions. As I reach out to the masses, tidbits of me can be seen by the gentle or sometimes outspoken placement of abyssal characters in my artworks (Fishes fascinate me); as well as the caress of Asian art’s influence. “

I am free to work and as noted, I am at an entry level as far as I know, but for the record I have sketched a good deal throughout my life. Recommendations for my work mainly have come from friends and family members so far. Please give me a chance and I am sure I will not disappoint you (if you do keep in mind it will be one of my first time doing commissioned work).
