Being born with a mixed heritage has led Nicole to an ongoing fascination with people and their ways of capturing and expressing their culture. She has lived in Spain and Israel, visited Europe and Central America, and most recently Asia. In 2010, she spent a year in China, during which she became conversant in Oral Mandarin Chinese despite no prior knowledge. Her interest in media communications started with her time as a PR intern for Yale University, and has grown throughout her career. She has also done some freelance writing and worked in several different industries, including food/hospitality, sales and customer service for upwards of 8 years. Currently, she has a part time job working for a Daytime Emmy-nominated travel/adventure show.
