Copywriter (remote)
I work as a copywriter on a contract basis for various websites owned by Internet Brands. The copy I write encompasses a variety of topics, including travel (both U.S. and foreign), shopping (covering a range from apparel to technical) and real estate (primarily timeshares and vacation homes). My average article length ranges from 250 to 500 words. This is primarily informational, non-sales copy.

I assisted with some content that required rewriting for Colombian Travel, a company that operates several dating websites owned by Bruce Rockwell in San Jose, CA. In addition to rewriting some of the content, I also wrote completely new content for a few of the sites. This was promotional copy intended to encourage site visitors to try a membership.

I worked as an independent contractor for Xeriton Corporation, posting stories to its WikiTalk website, generating discussions about the stories, and participating in discussions started by others. The stories spanned a variety of categories from top news to sports to odd stories of the day. The discussion was conducted in a way that looked at two sides of an issue.
