I researched and produced reports on topical issues relating to the Control Arms campaign at the United Nations, New York during this time, maintained the student and public support groups for the campaign and participated in awareness raising public events including giving a 3 hour lecture at Cambridge University, UK. I also produced graphics and collages for the campaign and worked creatively with school and preschool groups visiting Amnesty offices in London providing general education about human rights (HR) and the relationship between HR and the campaign to control the international arms trade.
I learned how to work with Office systems and networks of people in different countries and organisations, how to co-ordinate people with different motivations and objectives towards a single purpose and how to work productively in an office based team.
