3rd generation artist, I've had no formal training. I taught myself pen and ink and after completing 5 drawings, interviewed with the largest clip art firm in the country and landed a job that lasted 10 years. Then I was inspired by the beauty of Western art when I attended a local show, so I spent a year teaching myself watercolor painting and was showing there a year later. Traveled, photographed, showed for 10 years, but marketing was never my strong suite and I had to make a living doing other things. Now, off the grid, enjoying country life, I'm having a blast dying tshirts and creating art for fun. Family comes first but I'll always be on the lookout for my next inspiration, my next project, my next technique to master.
