Location:Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom
2 Skills

I moved to Brighton from Winchester in September 2010 to study a Professional Diploma in Song Writing at Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Before I moved to Brighton I worked at Lanterns Children’s Centre in Winchester, where I looked after children with additional needs such as autism, Down syndrome, speech and language difficulties, cerebral palsy. I also ran groups for families to attend, such as Bumps and Babies, and Play and Sing. I decided to give up work and pursue my ambition of being a credible songwriter and work in the music industry and felt that BIMM could give me the direction I needed. Music is my passion and I have been gigging in bands since 2006, I am a Singer/Songwriter and I am currently in a band called Bella-Feud and I am co-writing. I have collaborated with various musicians over the past 4 years and played in bands previously called The Ramblings and Sons and Lovers. I am also concentrating on my own work under my name of Zoe Croune. Some of my influences are, Norah Jones, Laura Marling, Carol King, Regina Spektor, Mumford and Sons, Eva Cassidy, Adele, Feist, Noah and the Whale, Goldfrapp, Vampire weekend, Arcade Fire and many more. I am always looking at new music and I am very open to different genres. I am computer literate and understand Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and I am used to a PC and MAC. I have great communication skills, I am a very committed, passionate, creative, fun person and I like to learn new things and also work hard.
