I am forty years old and I am a sophomore at Indiana State University. I have been married for seventeen years and I have three children. I have been a professional genealogy researcher assistant for eight years. Since, 2011, I have been a news reporter at the Indiana Statesman, which is a student collegiate newspaper for Indiana State University. At the beginning of my freshman year at Indiana State University, I was the sixth place finalist for the Summer Essay Contest. Also, I have had two editorial letters published in the Terre Haute Tribune Star. On my personal agenda, I have written two children's poetic stories and in the progress of publishing them. In addition, I have written several other poems I desire to publish. I love to write and I am very good at it. My long term goal is to become a renowned journalist and author.
