Since the non-profit organization relies heavily upon local philanthropy to help support its mission of providing care for those who can or cannot afford to pay, preservation and promotion of its outstanding reputation and image in the community is vital. The organization’s board of directors appropriates a modest annual budget for promotional purposes and closely scrutinizes how it is allocated. Appointed to develop community awareness about the organization and the positive impact it has on the area’s elderly population and their families predominantly through the use of publicity.
