I have customized presentations, workshops, and residencies for students in private and public schools since 1999. The following are the topics that were tailored to fit curriculums; working as an author/illustrator, life drawing, painting, page design, non-fiction writing, Lewis and Clark, surveying, mapping, and art history. Teaching has been praised and recognized by The Oregonian, and many teachers.

Young Audiences of Oregon & SW Washington 2003 - 2008
Joined the nation’s leading non-profit arts-in-education organization in 2003. Created three programs with Young Audiences; Book Illustration Basics, Mapping and Sketching, Lewis and Clark Accomplishments That Changed the World, and An Author’s Journey: Writing and Illustrating Books
