In 1997 I earned my degree in Graphic Design at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. However, I found that I was more interested in pursuing a career in the mental health field and since then have been a Crisis Intervention Counselor at a school for students who have varying mental health diagnoses and/or are part of the Juvenile Justice System. Over the last fifteen years I have discovered that I am becoming less a counselor and more of a punching bag. Now, I feel, it’s time to get back to what I trained for. I did not forsake artwork entirely though, I have kept busy over the years teaching art and doing a wide variety of freelance artwork in many different forms of media.
I enjoy a challenge with regards to illustrative work and consider pleasing the client the most important part of every job I do.
