Steve Chrisman is a graduate (barely) of Southern Oregon University, and he lives, blissfully, in the tiny coastal town of Seal Rock, Oregon, with his incredibly tolerant wife, Shannon, two daughters, two dogs and two cats. When he’s not choking on his wife's burnt food or waiting for his daughters to get out of the bathroom, he can be found walking his dogs on the miles of beautiful and nearly uninhabited beaches near his home. He was born in Laguna Beach, California, but was raised in a suburb of Philadelphia. After being expelled from boarding school, he graduated (barely) from Manasquan High School on the Jersey Shore and has since lived in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. He is a humorist who's currently working on a sequel to The Unnatural Aging of Cheese and also a screenplay about an Indian casino on the Oregon Coast. He is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and a two-time president of Writers on the Edge, Inc. Check out his website: www.schrisman.com.
